What airport will I fly into?

The closest major airport is Salt Lake International, located just 37 miles outside Park City. You can also fly into the private Heber Airport, located just 15 miles from the Deer Crest area of Deer Valley Resort.

Can you recommend a private jet service?

Our preferred jet provider, Magellan Jets, offers a variety of chartered flight options for a seamless travel experience to Park City.


How does Resorts West's shuttle service work?

Resorts West offers complimentary shuttle service, based on availability, to all of our winter guests. Arranging for shuttle pick-up is easy. Simply call the concierge team about 20 minutes before your desired pick-up time to determine availability. Shuttle service is available on a first-come, first-serve basis; please allow between 5 and 30 minutes for shuttle service. Average wait times may increase during holiday periods.

What if a shuttle isn't available?

If all shuttles are transporting other guests and you need to reach your destination before a shuttle is available, your concierge will gladly arrange a cab ride for you.

How much does shuttle service cost?

This service is always complimentary to our winter season guests.

What are your shuttle hours?

Shuttle service is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily during the ski season.

Where does the shuttle go?

The shuttle goes to many popular areas of Park City, including Main Street, Prospector, the Iron Horse District, Silver Star at Park City, Canyons Village at Park City and Snow Park Deer Valley.

How much does it cost to ride the bus?

Absolutely nothing! Park City's bus system is always complimentary.

Does the bus go to Empire Pass?

Yes, it does! The Lavender Line runs twice an hour from Main Street to the Montage, with stops at the Silver Strike Lodge and Grand Lodge along the way. The Orange Line runs twice an hour to Silver Lake Village.

Where else does the bus go?

Park City and Summit County buses run to each of Park City's ski resorts, including Canyons Village at Park City, and to Kimball Junction for shopping, dining and entertainment. Buses also run to all of Park City's grocery stores and liquor stores.

Can I take my skis, bike or other gear on the bus?

You absolutely can. Park City's buses are designed to easily fit all your gear, including your bike.

What time do buses stop running?

Depending on the route, buses stop running between 8:55 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the summer time and much later in the winter. Check the schedule for full details.


How can I catch a cab in Park City?

Cabs are often readily available on Main Street in the evening and later hours for easy hailing. You can also call the Resorts West concierge desk, and we will be happy to arrange a cab ride for you.

How much is the typical cab fare?

Cab fares run between $10 and $20 plus tip, depending on the length of your ride and how many people are in your party.

How far do cab drivers typically go?

Drivers will often go as far north as the Utah Olympic Park and Kimball Junction area, and as far south as all areas of Deer Crest and Empire Pass.


Do I need to rent a car?

Many guests have an enjoyable time in Park City without a vehicle, but depending on where you are staying and what activities you plan to enjoy, sometimes renting a car makes the most sense. If you often make plans spontaneously, a car will give you the freedom to enjoy your vacation on your own schedule. A car may also be a good idea if you have small children or a large group.

Where will I park?

All of Resorts West's properties offer heated, covered parking. You will have either a garage or a designated, private parking place. Complimentary parking is available at all three of Park City's resorts, and a complimentary multi-level parking garage offers plenty of options on Swede Alley, parallel to Main Street.

How much does renting a car typically cost?

Rental costs depend on the size and type of car you choose, as well as the accessories you need. Resorts West's concierge staff can help you find the greatest value for your needs.


What about transfers from the airport?

We can gladly arrange transportation for you to and from the airport. The concierge team will reach out to you before you arrive to help you with this.

If I bring a car, do I need 4-Wheel Drive?

This depends on when you are visiting and where you are staying. Since Park City's weather can be unpredictable, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter.

What's Dial-A-Ride?

Dial-A-Ride is an on-demand shuttle service, based on availability, for guests of Empire Pass in Deer Valley. This service is available by calling 435-214-5900.
