Hot Air Ballooning
Hot air balloons are a year-round part of Park City's recreation scene, and summer is one of the most pleasant times to experience the town above-ground. Expert pilots will show you mountains like you've never seen them, and you can end your voyage with a champagne (or nonalcoholic cider) toast. Ask your concierge to arrange a flight for you and your family!
From alpine slides to zip lines, Park City takes its mountain rides to a whole new level. Park City Mountain Resort offers a slew of rides, including a world-class alpine coaster, while the Utah Olympic Park features the world's steepest zip line and a ride on the 2002 Olympic bobsled track. Canyons Resort also offers a zip line, as well as a disc golf course and bike park. Summer in Park City, and try all of these activities!
With the Jordanelle Reservoir less than 10 minutes away, Park City is an ideal destination for wakeboarding, water skiing, stand-up paddleboarding and boating. The Jordanelle State Park is open year-round and offers plenty of hiking, biking and nature trails near the water. Ask your concierge about all the water sports you can enjoy at this beautiful park.
With climbs for every ability and a wide variety of rock faces, Utah has some of the best climbing in the world. Several walls lie within an easy drive from Park City, including Parley's Canyon, Big and Little Cottonwood and many faces in the storied Uinta Mountains. White Pine Touring offers classes and guided tours to the Uintas.
Yoga is a central part of life to many people in Park City, and you can find a class just about every day of the week. Park City Yoga Adventures combines hiking and even paddleboarding for unique excursions to fit any ability.
Skydive above Ogden's majestic mountains, located less than an hour from Park City.
