Soldier Hollow
Tubing Hill
Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers the longest tubing lanes in Utah. The hill offers 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for a day of sunshine or a night under the lights. A sound system plays music while you slide down the slopes.
To assure a quality experience, Soldier Hollow limits the sale of tubing tickets. On Saturdays and busy holidays in particular, we encourage pre-purchase of tubing hill tickets. Your Private Concierge can help you purchase tickets at any point during your stay.
Snowshoeing
For those wishing to traverse the Olympic trails at a slower pace, or for those wanting to explore the wildlife of Soldier Hollow, snowshoeing is a great alternative to skiing.
Snowshoe along the edges of the groomed trail network, follow single track trails to vantage points like the Crow's Nest, or forge your own trail -- its all available at Soldier Hollow.
Horseback Riding
Soldier Hollow Equestrian Center, in partner ship with Rocky Mountain outfitters, now offers year round equestrian adventures.
Enjoy a scenic horseback ride high on the south slope of the Historic Soldier Hollow Valley, venue of the 2002 winter Olympics. Summit the Crow's nest, an original hunting camp of the Ute Indian tribe, or visit a pioneer cabin on a picnic lunch ride.
